Academy of Technology, Hoogly has been established by Ananda Educational Development & Charitable Organization (AEDCO) – a trust accompanied with the following trustees with deep sense of social commitment dedicated to the promotion of education by inculcating appropriate ethics and attitudes.Envisioned to “nurturing in the students a spirit of self learning by infusing creative and critical thinking” Academy of Technology was been established in 2003 by Ananda Educational Development and Charitable Organization (AEDCO) a charitable trust under the chairmanship of Prof. Jagannath Banerjee, an alumnus of I.I.T. Kharagpur and I.I.M Calcutta.
It is not only the number of years that counted alone. Academy of Technology has attended zealous maturity in mere six years time and has achieved reputation for its academic standard, examination system and campus placement.
It has already established that Academy of Technology is not just mere addition to the growing list of private engineering colleges in West Bengal.
The Institute is located at Aedconagar on the side of G. T. Road (Adisaptagram) in the industrial region of Hooghly under Kolkata Metropolitan Development Area, West Bengal and within 4 Km from Bandel Rly. Junction. Again the institute is only two hundred meters away from Adisaptagram Rly. Station, next station to Bandel on Howrah-Burdwan main line (Eastern Railway). It is only 47 Km away from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (Kolkata Airport).
